Coaching Legacy: Joe Giles
Newark Catholic alum Joe Giles (NC 1974) served as NC’s golf coach for 30 years, from 1982 through 2011, winning two league titles and competing in the State Tournament Finals three times.

Proud Tradition
The 2014 team placed 8th in the State Tournament Finals. Other State Finals teams were in 2011 (5th), 2001 (4th) and 1998 (3rd). The 2016 team placed 10th in the State Finals. Senior Nick Willis earned 1st Team All-State by finishing in 4th place.
